Talk to your biomedical engineering team about service contracts, consumables, and calibration costs before finalizing the purchase order. The monitor is the beginning of the cost, not the end.
5. Don't let anyone make you feel small
To be fair, there's a real dynamic here. Small clinics don't generate the purchasing volume that big health systems do. I get why a vendor might prioritize a 500-bed hospital over a nine-room clinic.
